Sophomore Jake Boon (Oldham County) was recently named Kappa Delta’s Dagger. He now joins senior Tylor Kelly (Meade County). To receive this distinction, the member must first be nominated by the sorority and then receive the majority vote from their chapter.
The Kappa Delta Dagger is a male student who represents the values that the Kappa Delta Sorority upholds and honors, essentially an honorary member of the sorority. They are expected to represent the chapter and contribute to their successes in any way possible.
Tylor received Dagger during the Spring 2016 semester, and Jake during the Fall 2016 semester.
Now that they are Daggers, they are both eligible to become Kappa Delta’s “King.” This is the highest distinction an undergraduate male can receive within the sorority.
We are extremely proud of both brother Jake Boon and brother Tylor Kelly for receiving this honor. Being chosen to represent Kappa Delta truly exemplifies the high standard that members of Phi Delt hold themselves to.
